		<description>After updating every driver I could find on my system, converting my files to every type of format, and changing every setting on my project - my 720p 30fps HD videos were still lagging in the Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 preview. (480p miniDV worked fine!)

I have a Core 2 Quad CPU, 4GB RAM, and a 512MB PCIe Video Card. Yet it couldn&#039;t handle HD video in premiere.

I was almost going to switch back to shooting SD video just so I could edit it!

Thanks to your article (after months of fiddling) I am glad to say that it works! You have saved my desire to edit video from being destroyed by the endless problems of resource-hungry HD.
